Life After Diagnosis Conference

Please join us for our first “Life After Diagnosis” conference on June 6, 2009 at the Waltham Woods Conference Center. The conference is designed to provide the most up to date information to parents of children with genetic conditions and is intended to help families learn from professionals and each other about a wide array of topics. Our hope is that this information will help families navigate the challenges they may face in having a child with a genetic condition.

speaker-2Our keynote speaker, Maria Trozzi, is world renowned for her work on grief and will be talking to our group about promoting resilience in families with a child with a disability. Other topics include: school advocacy, health insurance, genetics, getting organized, financial planning, finding PCAs, and home and vehicle modification. Cost is $20/person or $30/couple but scholarships are available (if interested in a scholarship please contact Erica Sanborn at erica.sanborn@zoesbestfriend.org). Unfortunately we are not able to welcome children this year. Space is limited so register now.
